Ihram refers to the plain white clothes worn by pilgrims during Hajj and Umrah. When men and women perform Hajj, they must enter the state of Ihram. As a part of the Pilgrimage rituals, both Muslim men and women are required to follow a set of rules.

To Use Perfume or Fragrance
You cannot use perfume, soap, or shampoo that has an aroma once you have entered the state of Ihram. People are not allowed to use Kajal in their eyes, and they are also not allowed to use oil. You can, however, take perfume with you, which is not considered sinful.
Using or applying perfume involves putting it on one’s hair, clothes, and body, as well as eating anything that entices you with its pleasant aromas, such as rose oil or sandalwood. However, many foods that are aromatic but aren’t perfumes, such as apples and cinnamon, fit into this category.
After entering the Ihram state, you can also take a rose. On the other hand, y You cannot smell the rose & allowing it to touch your nose. For covering the woman’s face or wearing gloves

On the other hand, it is not a prohibited act, if you can cover your face with something that does not touch your skin. Women are also not permitted to wear gloves, but they may wear long-sleeved clothes to cover their hands.
To cover the man’s head
The act of covering your head or a portion of your head is prohibited for men while performing Hajj with anything that is considered as a cover, according to the norms. Even if exposing your head means displaying your hair color, this is acceptable. Holding an umbrella or wearing a thin band around one’s head doesn’t mean head covering.
For the man to wear clothes made to cover the body by sewing or felting
Men are not permitted to wear sewn or felt garments that wraps around their bodies. You can’t even wear shoes that are sewn to fit your feet. As a result, men are required to wear shoes that expose their toes as well as the back of their feet. Men cover their Awrah with a wrap-around, similar to an Izaar. There is no rule against wearing a belt to keep your clothes or sword in the position.
To massage the head or beard with oil, grease, melted honey wax, & many others
People who are in the state of Ihram are not permitted to apply Duhn or oils to their heads or beards. But, you can apply the unscented oils on your body, bald head, or even on your face.
To cut hair, fingernails, or toenails
Cutting or removing one’s fingernails and toenails is not allowed. You can’t even get rid of your hair by pulling, cutting, or other means. Hair fall is not a prohibited act as long as this is natural and not the result of one’s deliberate acts.

It is not allowed to hunt edible, wild, or land animals in the state of Ihram. You can, however, catch marine life and even kill dangerous species like scorpions and snakes. Even if a domestic animal, such as a sheep, becomes wild, killing it is not sinful.
If you kill an edible wild land animal, you must have to perform expiation. The expiation consists of slaughtering an animal that is most similar in shape to the land killed, such as a goat, cow, camel, or sheep as well. In Makkah, the meat is given to the poor or needy people.
Physical intimacy, as well as its inviting behavior
When you enter the state of Ihram, you are not allowed to have physical contact with your spouse or do any actions that invite him or her to do so. If a man is in Ihram but his wife is not, it is unlawful for the wife to allow her husband to have physical intimacy with her or to engage in any other actions that would invite him to do so. The lustful look is equally immoral, but it does not necessitate expiation.
You invalidate your Hajj if you engage in physical interaction before the first tahallul. Even if your Hajj has been invalidated, you must continue performing Hajj actions, pay an expiation, and undertake Hajj the following year if you are able.
If you are unable to re-perform Hajj, you have an obligation to do so whenever you are able.
When physical intimacy invalidates your Hajj, the kaffarah includes slaughtering a camel and then distributing its meat to the poor people. If you can’t find a camel, slaughter a cow. If a cow cannot be found, seven sheep must be slaughtered.
Another key point to remember is that you cannot perform a marriage contract for yourself or others while in Ihram state. A marriage contract performed in the state of Ihram is invalid. However, there is no need for atonement due.
